In September of 2019, artists from across the globe came to downtown Jackson to share their love of art with the city. These artists painted murals on the walls of local business and received an extreme amount of support from the community here in Jackson. The festival was such a success that it continued in the fall of 2020, and again in 2021, despite the global pandemic that struck the world. We now have 41 murals in the downtown area as a result of Bright Walls. The festival brought the community together with the art as well as live music, local food vendors, and great company.I just love the atmosphere! It is really nice to see the community getting downtown and enjoying all of the festivities!

Mark your calendars for September 8-11! The festival organizers are planning a final festival for September of 2022. While the community will be sad to see the festival come to an end, they will be able to love and cherish these murals for many years to come.
